Q. What is the run time of the FL6/FL12 and how long will the L.E.D.s last?
A. Using 3 fresh C-cell batteries, the FL6 run time is approximately 10-15 hours of high brightness, then up to 200 hours continuously. The FL12 runs at 8 hours high brightness, then up to 400 hours continuously. The L.E.D. life is approximately 100,000 hours.

Q. How do you use the quick-release mechanism on the FL6/FL12 flashlight?

Q. The quick-release seems to be stuck, or does not slide down. What should I do?
A. Make sure it is not in the locked position prior to sliding it down. If it is unlocked, you may need to apply more downwards pressure to release the hooks. You can try placing the bottom of the flashlight on a solid surface while pulling down on the quick release trigger pads.

Q. There is a glow after the light is turned off. Does this mean the flashlight is still turned on?
A. No. After the FL6 is turned off, it will continue to produce a glow for up to 10 hours due to a special luminescent material inside the lens. This is a unique feature of the FL6 making it easy to locate even after the unit is turned off.

Q. There are faint dark lines running along the handle, is this normal?
A. Yes, this is normal. These are not scratches on the body, nor is it defective. This occurs when using metallic colors in the plastic. They tend to produce what is called 'knit' or flow lines along the body. This in no way affects the integrity of the handle.

Q. How is tax applied?
A. A 7.75% tax is charged only if the product is shipped to a California address.

Q. I wish to purchase the product as a gift. Can I have it shipped directly to the gift recipient's address?
A. At this time, products can only be shipped to the credit card holder's address.

Q. What is the lead time for the product?
A. Your order will be processed within 1-2 business days from time of order. The product is shipped from California so please allow an additional 4-7 business days for delivery. We will provide a tracking number (via email) so that you may monitor the status of your package on-line during transit.

Q. I never received a confirmation e-mail after placing my order, what should I do?
A. Certain e-mail programs may filter out our e-mails. Please make sure www.lumaray.com is on your safe list. You can always send us an email to: orders@lumaray.com to inquire about your order.
If you do not receive the order or an e-mail regarding the order, please contact us immediately. Please include your name, address, order number, and type of products ordered. 

DO NOT send us your credit card number; PayPal handles all our credit card transactions.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Currently, we do not offer refunds nor credits. However, we do offer a 1 year warranty if the product is defective. Within the warranty period, we will gladly repair, or exchange the product when necessary at our discretion. All repairs must be accompanied by an invoice, receipt, or a description of how product was obtained. Please contact us at orders@lumaray.com regarding warranty repairs.
